Step back into a simple & peaceful time at The Old Capitol Tea Room. Located in historic Corydon, Indiana, we host vintage afternoon tea parties.

Two vintage themed bands - Rosie & The Rockabillies is a 1950s cover band while the Tin Pan Alley Cats features a 1920s-1940s vibe.

Running a small business—especially a tea room—is a journey of highs and lows. This year, we’re celebrating 10 magical years of themed tea parties, live performances, and countless cups of tea shared with you. ☕️✨


But like all things, tea rooms have their seasons. Lately, we’ve seen a bit of a slowdown—trends shift, the world feels uncertain, and social media makes it harder than ever to be seen. So, while we are NOT closing, we are going to be scaling back—hosting fewer events and retiring certain themes.


We’re sharing this because if there’s a tea party you’ve been dreaming of, don’t wait. Come while they’re here—because nothing is promised tomorrow. 💕
