A Dickensian Christmas at Churchill Downs! Our Victorian Carolers Return for 2026

There's something magical about hearing traditional Christmas carols in a historic setting—and this Thanksgiving weekend, we're delighted to bring that magic back to Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky!

Our Technicolor Life is thrilled to partner with Actors Theatre of Louisville and Churchill Downs for two afternoons of festive entertainment on Friday, November 27, and Saturday, November 28, 2026. Our quartet of fully costumed Victorian Christmas carolers will return in Dickensian finery to share beloved seasonal songs with guests enjoying the holiday weekend at the races.

A Holiday Tradition We're Delighted to Continue

After a wonderful experience caroling at Churchill Downs last year, we're especially excited to return with an expanded schedule. We love the chance to bring music, storytelling, and a little old-fashioned theatrical charm into unexpected places. The historic surroundings make a wonderful backdrop for our Victorian costumes and traditional carols.

More Than Tea: Entertainment by Our Technicolor Life

Although many people know us through The Old Capitol Tea Room, performing is a huge part of what Jeff and I love to do. Through Our Technicolor Life, we offer a wide range of professional entertainment for corporate celebrations, festivals, private parties, historic properties, and special occasions.

Our offerings include the Tin Pan Alley Cats vintage musical duo, Rosie & the Rockabillies live band, theatrical radio dramas and storytelling, themed musical performances, Victorian Christmas carolers, and costumed character appearances. Whether an event calls for nostalgic music, a lively band, or a memorable character encounter, we love helping hosts create something special.
