Curious Corydon - Historic Walking Tour Through Downtown Corydon 

Join us Tuesday October 4th at  7:30 pm for a historic walking tour of Downtown Corydon. 

Every small town has its own curious and unusal past. Corydon is no exception. We have uncovered some unscrupulous and dasterdly happenings from the past that are sure to give you a chill and open your eyes to Corydon's dark past. The Old Capitol Tea Room is thrilled to be offering this one of a kind walking tour. Not a formal sit down tea party, although light refreshments will be served in the garden area. 

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS. 

This Downtown Corydon walking tour is based on actual documented historical events. During the tour, we will visit the locations and our costumed characters will share information and stories about Corydon's unusual past. This is not a "haunted house" type tour but hopefully the chilling, graphic, and shocking details from history will do the trick. 

This walking tour will mainly stay in the area of Downtown Corydon with a few outliers. We visit the sites where events actually occured, are said to have occurred, or in some instances have a direct connection to the event. Some examples of events are murders, tragic accidents, crimes, ghostly hauntings, and other curious going-ons of Corydon's past. 

Check in at our garden gate entrance on High Street and Capitol Avenue with  your last name. Our address is 501 N Capitol Avenue at The Old Capitol Tea Room. Follow around to the side street, HIGH STREET and check in at the gate. Please check in 10 mins. before the start of the event. 

THIS EVENT HAPPENS RAIN OR SHINE! 

Always dress appropriately for the weather conditions during the walk. It is a walking tour, so we advise wearing comfortable clothing and footwear. Expect to walk a distance of a little over 1 mile and lasts roughly 1 hour 15 minutes. 

By purchasing tickets, you and all ticket holders in your party agree to release The Old Capitol Tea Room, its employees, and affliates from ALL liability during your time on the tour. 

This walk is NOT recommended for young children as graphic and explicit details of events will be shared. Ticket holders should respect the nature of the tour, other ticket-holders on the tour, and the locations we visit, and therefore should refrain from making unnecessary noise or other types of distrubances while on the tour especially when a character is talking to the group. It is forbidden for any ticket-holders on the tour to trespass on private property during the walking tour. Failure to abide by these rules could result in being asked to leave the walk without a refund. 

Please refrain from video recoring while on tour. Pictures are encouraged but we ask you DO NOT video record to prevent possibile "spoilers" for fututre tour participants. 

Purchasing a ticket signafies you have read and understand all the guidelines and recommendations. All ticket sales are final upon purchase. No exceptions. Tickets are non-refundable due to the nature of event ticket sales, we are not offering refunds, cancellations, or no shows. 

The Old Capitol Tea Room has the right to cancel a tour if number of tickets sold is not satisfactory. We will notify ticket-holders and promptly process a refund or offer a gift certificate.
